On August 4, 2021, the construction of the core building intelligent R&D center of the Guiyang Economic Development Zone, a major provincial-level project of the Aerospace Jiangnan Intelligent Manufacturing Infrastructure Industrial Cluster Construction Project, officially started, marking the full start of the project.

Industrial Cluster Project

The industrial cluster project has a total investment of 4.4 billion yuan and will be constructed in two phases. The first phase of the project has a total investment of over 2 billion yuan and a construction area of approximately 240,000 square meters. It is planned to build new research and development buildings, production plants, warehousing and logistics, power and living supporting facilities, etc.; new high-voltage relay production lines, inertial device product intelligent assembly production lines, and steering 27 intelligent production lines such as motor production lines, aerospace precision transmission device production lines, and robot assembly and powertrain trial production lines; relocation and transformation of the assembly production line of fall-off connectors, J599 series aerospace-grade circular connector production lines, and relay automated comprehensive test production lines, 23 production lines including high-voltage measurement and control instrument production lines.

The first phase of the project is expected to be partially completed in 2023, and some enterprises will begin production in the park. After it is fully completed in 2025, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of 10 billion yuan. The second phase of the plan focuses on the development of special robots, new energy powertrains, and intelligent power energy system industrialization capabilities, as well as the supplementation of the short-board capabilities of various basic components. After the second phase is fully completed, the entire project is expected to achieve an annual output value of 20 billion yuan.

It is understood that the industrial cluster project is jointly built by the Economic Development Zone and Aerospace Jiangnan Group Co., Ltd., and is one of the major construction projects of Guizhou Province and China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation. The project focuses on the construction of three platforms: intelligent manufacturing platform, R&D innovation platform, and industrial collaboration platform. By building a number of intelligent manufacturing demonstration lines, demonstration workshops and demonstration factories, it forms a strong core traction and outward radiation force, and promotes related industries to the high-end The development of industrialization, greening and clustering will help the new industrialization of Guizhou Province.
