From August 2 to 6, Minister of Transport Li Xiaopeng went to Lhasa, Nyingchi, and Xigaze in the Tibet Autonomous Region to comprehensively promote the rural areas on the construction of the Sichuan-Tibet railway and supporting roads, the comprehensive transportation channels in and out of Tibet, and the consolidation and expansion of poverty alleviation results. The Sejila Mountain Tunnel, a railway control project, inspected the tunnel construction progress and safety production on site, and investigated the Sichuan-Tibet Railway master plan at Linzhi Railway Station and the safety operation of Linzhi Station, epidemic prevention and control, passenger flow organization and other work. On the way to Lhasa, the team investigated and learned about the operation and service of the Lalin Railway and the construction along the line. In the T3 terminal of Lhasa Gonggar Airport, the team investigated the construction of the terminal and the preparations for commissioning and the development of civil aviation in the Tibet Autonomous Region.
