The main line of Guiyang-Huangping Expressway is 120.6 kilometers long, starting from Guiyang City and ending in Yukai Expressway. Among them, the control engineering Yangbaoshan Super Bridge has a total length of 1112 meters and a steel truss girder suspension bridge with a main span of 650 meters. It is also the first suspension bridge in Guizhou Province that adopts two-way six-lane expressway standards.

It is reported that the Guiyang Expressway Yangbaoshan Extraordinary Bridge was designed by the China Communications No. 1 Public Administration and constructed by the China Communications No. 2 Public Administration, and was successfully closed on March 21, 2021. The biggest technical highlight of the project is that the main cable is erected by aerial spinning for the first time in China. The main cable is 1113 meters long, including 72 through-length strands and 4 back cables. It is composed of 24,128 high-strength galvanized steel wires and has a total weight of nearly 4,600 tons. . Different from the conventional prefabricated parallel cable strand construction process, the aerial spinning method uses the traction machinery to reciprocate and pull the high-strength galvanized steel wire to make parallel steel wire strands on site. The successful application of this technology not only fills the domestic technological gap, but also provides a reference for the industry to formulate technical standards for the main cable aerial spinning method.
