Recently, China Railway 20th Bureau Group Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Railway Construction Corporation, signed a feasibility study agreement and an EPC contract of intent for the 6 waste incineration power plant projects in Kazakhstan with the Kazakhstan Waste 2 Energy Company.

This project is one of the waste-to-energy projects planned by the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of Kazakhstan. The project mainly builds 6 waste incineration power plants in 6 cities including Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Karaganda, and Aktobe. The total annual waste treatment is The amount of waste exceeds 1.3 million tons, and the daily waste disposal capacity of each power plant is between 300 and 1500 tons. The planned construction period is 4 years and will be implemented in two phases. China Railway 20th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. has actively overcome various unfavorable factors of the new crown epidemic and has carried out various tasks.
