When commissioning the 2x60MVA, 132/33KV Awka substation in Anambra, built by Niger Delta Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (NDPHC), Osinbajo said that the federal government is still committed to creating a favorable environment for the development of enterprises in the country.

He pointed out that improving infrastructure is necessary for the development of small businesses, adding that the substation will provide approximately 100 megawatts of electricity to the capital of Anambra and its surrounding areas. Nigeria's economy depends to a large extent on the efforts made at the subnational level, that is, at the state level. We hope and are working hard for the great economy of our country.

Anambra’s revenue increased from approximately 10.4 billion naira in 2014 to 26.37 billion naira in 2019, which increased the state’s IGR by another 152%. The enabling environment and business facilitation measures implemented in Anambra have made it one of the fastest growing manufacturing centers in the country.

"Nnewi owns major local manufacturing companies including Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing, Tommy Tommy Industries, and Chikason Group. This proves the entrepreneurial capabilities and possible driving forces of the Nigerian people, but what is important is the enabling environment that the country can create." Osinbajo said pass.

Osinbajo added that despite the power supply challenges, the state’s industrial growth has occurred, and said that the government is committed to ensuring the completion of the Awka NIPP 132KVA grid substation, which now provides 70MW of additional power capacity that has not been available so far to promote The state of industrial growth and promotion of economic development.

The Governor of Anambra, Willie Obiano, believes that infrastructure will help the state’s industrialization plan. He said that improving power supply will make industry more productive and cost-effective.
