On September 6, 2021, the Dalian City Guangming Road Extension Project 201 National Highway Interchange and the overpass of the Shenyang-Dalian line highway-rail overpass successfully completed by the First Navigation Bureau.

The main span of the swivel bridge is 80 meters long. It is the first swivel construction bridge in Dalian. The main pier is located on the north side of the Shenyang-Dalian Railway. The main pier is 21.5 meters wide and has a total weight of 6,500 tons. With a counterclockwise rotation of 75.6 degrees, the newly-built bridge piers were accurately docked at millimeter level, marking a zero breakthrough in the construction of Dalian's rotating bridge.

The Dalian Bay Subsea Tunnel and Guangming Road Extension Project are key livelihood projects in Dalian. The Guangming Road Extension Project is connected to the Dalian Bay Subsea Tunnel with a total length of 6.952 kilometers. Four interchanges and a separate tunnel are set up across the line.

The 201 National Highway under construction this time crosses the highway-rail overpass of Shenyang-Dalian Line, and the closest distance to the existing line is only 5 meters. Facing the most important and busiest railway artery in Northeast my country, there is an average of one train passing in about 6 minutes. The project construction has a high safety risk. In order to reduce the impact of bridge construction on railway traffic, the main line bridge is constructed by rotating construction method. .

At 1 o'clock on the 6th, with the on-site rotation command issued, the rotating bridge went through three stages of normal rotation, deceleration rotation, and jog rotation. Finally, the posture was precisely adjusted, and the axis docking was completed at 2:18. The success of this rotation laid the foundation for the entire line of Guangming Road Extension Project.

The main line of the Dalian Bay Subsea Tunnel and Guangming Road Extension Project is 12.1 kilometers in length. The construction standard is an urban expressway with a design speed of 60 kilometers per hour and two-way 6-lane. It includes two sub-projects of the Dalian Bay Subsea Tunnel and the Guangming Road Extension Project. After the completion of the project, it will be of great significance for accelerating the construction of Dalian, alleviating traffic pressure, and enhancing the city's overall strength, carrying capacity and radiation.
