Recently, China Energy Construction and Anhui Power Construction No. 1 Company formed a consortium to sign the Ukrainian Kalogist 100MW photovoltaic project EPC contract with Ukraine’s Energo Impulse in video mode, with a contract value of 100 million US dollars. The signing of the project is the latest achievement of China-Uzbekistan's joint construction of the Belt and Road towards high-quality development.

The project is located in Karlogist, Uman District, Cherkassy Region, Ukraine. The main project content is the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of a 100 MW photovoltaic power station. The project uses high-efficiency single-crystal single-sided photovoltaic modules. This is the first photovoltaic power plant project signed by Energy China International in the Ukrainian market after signing the EPC contract for the Cindrigo1000TPD waste-to-energy plant and the Kyiv Karsa waste-to-energy plant project, providing strong support for the further expansion of international companies in the Ukrainian power market. After the project is completed, it will bring clean energy and new job opportunities to the local area, improve the power supply situation in the surrounding areas of the project, and make a positive contribution to the optimization of Ukraine's power system layout.

2021 is the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Uzbekistan strategic partnership. In June 2021, China and Uzbekistan jointly signed an agreement on deepening cooperation in the field of infrastructure construction. The Calogist 100MW photovoltaic project is also a model for the practical implementation of infrastructure construction cooperation between the two countries.
