Recently, the 11th Bureau of Hydropower received a bid-winning notice for a package of the Miguyas Hydropower Station Diversion Tunnel project from Bolivia’s ENDE CORANI Electric Power Company. This is the project that the 11th Bureau of Hydropower has won the bid for the 2nd package of the diversion tunnel of Miguyas Hydropower Station on July 9. It is also the fourth Bolivian Ministry of Energy construction project won by the company.

The 1 package project of the diversion tunnel of the Miguyas Hydropower Station is located in the capital city of La Paz, Quime, about 280 kilometers away from La Paz. The construction includes two tunnels, two water intakes and a pressure forepool. No. 2 tunnel has a total length of 2798 meters and a diameter of 3 meters; No. 4 tunnel has a total length of 3015.33 meters and a diameter of 4 meters, of which the main tunnel is 2755.43 meters long, the entrance branch is 132.9 meters, and the exit branch is 127 meters. Water intake projects include overflow dams, grit tanks, water intakes, water delivery channels, safety projects, gates, trash racks, etc. The pressure forepool mainly includes earthwork, water intake, valve room, exit retaining wall, safety engineering and gold junction equipment, etc.
