China Aerospace Science and Industry has made great efforts in petroleum equipment, and aerospace technology has made petroleum equipment technology no longer controlled by others. On September 14, 2021, China National Petroleum Corporation and China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Dai Houliang, Chairman and Party Secretary of China National Petroleum Corporation, and Yuan Jie, Chairman and Party Secretary of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation attended the signing ceremony and had a discussion, and exchanged views on deepening cooperation.

Jiao Fangzheng, Deputy General Manager and Party Member of China National Petroleum Corporation, and Li Lixin, Deputy General Manager and Party Member of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, attended the symposium and signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on behalf of both parties. According to the agreement, the two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation on technological innovation, high-end equipment, and digital information technology applications to promote common development.

Dai Houliang welcomed the visit of Yuan Jie and his entourage, and introduced the development history and basic situation of PetroChina. He said that PetroChina has thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech and instructions, implemented new development concepts, strengthened innovation and reform management, promoted high-quality development, and effectively assumed the major responsibility of ensuring national energy security. PetroChina and Aerospace Science & Industry have a good foundation for cooperation. We hope that both parties will take this signing as an opportunity to base themselves on the new development pattern, give full play to their respective advantages, strengthen exchanges and docking, deepen practical cooperation, and contribute to the comprehensive construction of a modern and powerful socialist country.
