Clear key tasks

For the next step of central enterprises’ assistance to Xinjiang, the relevant person in charge of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission clarified five key tasks. The first is to pragmatically promote industrial assistance to Xinjiang and cultivate and expand industries with distinctive advantages. Organize and promote the optimization of the layout of central enterprises in industries and fields that are related to the national strategy and the lifeline of the national economy in Xinjiang, continue to increase infrastructure investment and construction, improve the efficiency of Xinjiang's infrastructure system and the level of interconnection, and use industrial development to help Xinjiang's industrial base and increase efficiency And transformation and upgrading. The second is to consolidate the results of poverty alleviation and help comprehensively promote rural revitalization. State-owned enterprises increase their assistance to Xinjiang

At the meeting, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council signed the "Memorandum of Cooperation during the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan Period" with the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the Corps. From the perspective of the energy sector, PetroChina stated that it will continue to increase exploration and development efforts, accelerate the optimization of its refining and chemical business structure, effectively develop oil and gas sales, accelerate the deployment of new energy businesses, coordinate the development of service businesses, and support Xinjiang’s economic and social development through industrial development.
