On September 12, 2021, the last I beam of the 7# bridge in Section 7 of the F3 section of the Georgia E60 highway constructed by China Road and Bridge was safely erected. The first bridge of the project was successfully erected, again demonstrating the comprehensive strength and vigorous development of China Road and Bridge.

Georgia’s E60 highway runs through the east and west of Georgia and is an important section of the main road connecting Asia and Europe. After completion, it will greatly alleviate the traffic pressure on the existing section of E60, greatly shorten the passenger and freight time between Tbilisi, Batumi and Poti, and increase employment opportunities, which is of great significance to the development of Georgia and the region. The F3 standard line constructed by China Road and Bridge has a total length of 13.05km, two-way four-lane, and a design speed of 100km/h. The terrain of the project passing area is dominated by mountainous terrain, the terrain is steep, and the bridge-tunnel ratio of the whole line is 76.7%, which is the most critical section of the E60 expressway project.
