The Qipanzhou Yangtze River Highway Bridge is a steel box girder anchored suspension bridge. It is an important river crossing channel of Qichun to Jiayu Expressway. The bridge starts from Qichun County of Huanggang City to Yangxin County of Huangshi City in the north. It is the first river-crossing bridge in Southeast Hubei. Suspension bridge. The total length of the project is 21.951 kilometers, of which the Yangtze River Bridge is 3328.5 meters long and the main span is 1038 meters over the Yangtze River. Fine construction of beams, needles in the air

The north cable tower of the bridge is 157 meters high and is constructed in 26 sections using hydraulic climbing formwork. The upper beam at the top of the bridge's pylons is designed in the shape of a chime in the Bachu culture. Due to the ultra-high altitude and large spacing construction, the upper beam cannot use the traditional formwork system. By optimizing the plan, the builders adopted the corbel wall-attached load-bearing arch bracket as a support and also as a bottom mold. The arched support weighing 350 tons is lifted to an altitude of 110 meters above the ground in two times. During the lifting process, it is necessary to pass through the cross brace between the three towers. The distance between the two sides of the brace and the cross brace is only about 10 cm. The lifting speed and accuracy requirements are very high, which is equivalent to "piercing a needle" in the air.

The builders adopted the swing method and set up a beam-moving support platform in advance on the shore, and the steel box girder was lifted to the height of the beam-moving support by shipping. , The steel box girder is moved to the beam-moving support platform through the horizontal traction of the hoist, and the steel box girder is like swinging, and then to the corresponding hoisting position, and the steel box girder is lifted and hoisted in place for the second time.

Great achievements in scientific and technological research

The Qipanzhou Yangtze River Highway Bridge is an important and difficult project and a scientific research project of the joint-stock company. The project actively carried out technical research and innovative applications, created a model worker innovation studio, formed a scientific and technological research team, and solved a number of problems. Five key technologies were formed in the construction of pylons, anchors, main cables, and steel box beams.

Jointly established a BIM technology research and development studio with Southwest Jiaotong University to research and form the digital construction technology of anchors based on BIM models; cooperate with Wuhan University of Technology to study the key technology of gravity-type anchors for large-volume temperature control. Many scientific and technological achievements of the bridge have been transformed and promoted, and they have been used for reference on the same type of bridges. Among them, the anchorage deep foundation pit controlled blasting excavation technology and the anchorage (cap) mass concrete temperature control technology are applied to the construction of the Hebijin Expressway Youxi Yangtze River Bridge project.

So far, the project has obtained 8 authorized patents, 7 provincial and ministerial construction methods, 14 scientific papers and 1 software copyright. Won the Excellence Award (Comprehensive Application) of the BIM Modeling Engineer Skills Competition Team Competition in Hangzhou "Zhejiang Sanjian Cup". A number of key technologies formed are planned to be reported for scientific and technological progress awards at or above the provincial and ministerial level.

Construction of the Qipanzhou Yangtze River Highway Bridge officially started on March 27, 2017. After five years of spring and autumn, it has now crossed the Yangtze River.
