In a speech, Lu Chengquan, President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Malaysia, said that China has been Malaysia's largest trading partner for 12 consecutive years, and it is also Malaysia's largest export destination and source of imports. The Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing said that according to Chinese statistics, in the first half of 2021, China-Malaysia bilateral trade volume and China’s non-financial investment in Malaysia increased by 43.9% and 76.3% year-on-year respectively. Cooperation in the fields of information communication and digital economy has yielded fruitful results.
