The XKZQ-2~7 section of the Xikang high-speed rail station front project has been officially started in July 2021. The remaining XKZQ-1 bid section, the station building project and the post-station "four power" projects are planned to officially start on December 1, with a construction period of 4.5 years and be completed by the end of June 2026.

The new Xikang high-speed rail is a part of the Beijing-Kunming and Baohai channels of the national high-speed rail network, and is the northern section of the Xi-Chongqing high-speed rail. The construction scope of the project is from Xi'an East Station (not included, included in the West Ten High-speed Railway Project) to Ankang West Station (inclusive). The main line is 170 kilometers, and 5 new stations, Taihe, Zhashui, Zhen'anxi, Tongmu, and Ankang West, will be newly established. Simultaneously construct Ankang EMU storage yard, comprehensive maintenance workshop, track laying base and other related projects.

The Xikang high-speed rail project is dominated by tunnel engineering. The tunnel length accounts for 83.1%. There are 4 extra-long tunnels over 10 kilometers in total. The Qinling Taixingshan Tunnel is 18.844 kilometers long. The repair plan is a key control project across the line.

Tender conditions

The new Xi’an-Ankang high-speed railway has been approved by the China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. and the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government in the "Approval of the Feasibility Study Report on the Adjustment of the New Xi’an-Ankang High-speed Railway" by the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government of the State Railway Group. 2020) No. 577) was approved for construction. Project Overview

The new high-speed railway from Xi’an to Ankang leads from Xi’an East Station. After passing through the Qinling Mountains, it passes through Zhashui, Zhen’an and Xunyang to Ankang West Station. The length of the main line is 170.4 kilometers. There are 6 stations in Xi'an East, Taihe, Zhashui West, Zhenanxi, Tongmu and Ankangxi Stations on the whole line. The project feasibility study approved investment of 35.51 billion yuan.

Planned construction period: 1672 calendar days, start date: December 1, 2021, completion date: June 30, 2026.

Scope and content of bidding

The XKZQ-1 section of the station front project: the construction of the XKDK7+200~DK22+878 section of the high-speed railway from Xi’an to Ankang. The number of works is: 6.748 kilometers of section roadbed and 13.610 kilometers of bridges.

Main project content: Chanhe Bridge, Xinzhuang Village Bridge, Zhangjiagou Middle Bridge, Nanhuan Expressway Interchange Bridge, Guanzhong Ring Road Interchange Bridge, 5 sections of roadbed, 1 box girder prefabrication site, 1 track laying base (to the west Ten high-speed rail shared), track laying across the line.

XKSDJC-1 bid section of the four-electric project: the number of works is four-electric integration and the construction of supporting houses, including tunnel lighting, communication, signal and information, disaster monitoring, electric and electric traction power supply, houses, other operational production equipment and buildings, transition Engineering, young crop compensation, etc.

Taihe Station (building area of 3,99.14 square meters, steel structure area of 1,178.08 square meters) station buildings and other related projects; Taihe Station production and living houses 4,132.52 square meters.

Zhashui West Station (building area of 3,987.57 square meters, of which steel structure area is 1718.40 square meters) station buildings and other related projects; Zhashui West Station production and living housing is 8969.85 square meters.

Zhen'anxi Station (building area 3886.65 square meters, steel structure area 2483.32 square meters, overhead parking lot 10345.84 square meters) station buildings and other related projects; Zhen'anxi Station production and living houses 9116.92 square meters.

The production and living houses of Tongmu Station are 1,733.98 square meters.

Ankang West Station (building area of 19987.3 square meters, steel structure area of 11922.65 square meters) station building, and other related projects; Ankang West Station production and living houses 24394.91 square meters.

After the completion of the Xikang High-speed Railway, it will form a rapid passenger transport corridor that runs through the west and connects Chengdu-Chongqing and Guanzhong two major national urban agglomerations together with the Kangyu High-speed Railway.
