Recently, the Energy Administration of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region issued the "Notice on Carrying out the Demonstration of Integrated Solar and Solar Hydrogen Production in 2021", which selected 7 demonstration projects for solar and solar hydrogen production in 2021. Mongolia Hydrogen Production Project

Etuoke Qianqi 250 MW photovoltaic power station and hydrogen energy comprehensive utilization demonstration project focuses on the logistics and transportation of Shanghai Miao Energy and Chemical Base of Etuoke Qianqi and the green and low-carbon development needs of the chemical industry. It is planned to build integrated hydrogen production, hydrogenation, and charging. A comprehensive hydrogen energy supply station with hydrogen and hydrogen storage functions. The project is designed to produce 6,000 tons of hydrogen per year. The project is supporting the construction of a photovoltaic power station with a total installed capacity of 250 MW, which provides green power for hydrogen production from electrolysis of water for the project. The preliminary site of the project is located in Tebudgacha, Miao Town, Shanghai Miao Town, Etuoke Qianqi, covering an area of 2.73 Ten thousand mu, dominated by deserts, does not involve ecological red lines, and can develop photovoltaic projects on a large scale to achieve the goal of producing green hydrogen from "green electricity".

The project is expected to be completed and connected to the grid in 2023. Among the many "photovoltaic +" models, "photovoltaic + hydrogen energy" is generally optimistic. Photovoltaics and hydrogen, as zero-carbon power and clean energy power carriers, can play a huge role in reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

The basic principle of solar hydrogen production is to first use solar photovoltaic power generation, and then electrolyze water to obtain hydrogen and oxygen. The core idea of solar photovoltaic power generation hydrogen energy storage technology is to use photovoltaics to electrolyze water into hydrogen (and oxygen) when solar energy is sufficient but cannot be connected to the Internet and need to abandon light. The hydrogen is converted into electrical energy through different methods (internal combustion engine, fuel cell or other methods).

Hydrogen production by solar energy realizes the production of clean energy from clean energy, and can effectively absorb photovoltaic power generation, and can realize the effective combined application of two important new energy sources. On August 16, the "Beijing Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Implementation Plan (2021-2025)" issued by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology proposed that by 2025, 10-15 leading enterprises in the industrial chain with international influence should be cultivated , To build 3 to 4 world-class industrial R&D and innovation platforms, and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has achieved a total of more than 100 billion yuan in the hydrogen energy industry chain.
