On September 26, 2021, Wang Yanming, General Manager of China National Technology Corporation, and Patrick Somet, Director of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Posts and Telecommunications of Côte d’Ivoire, signed a contract for the National Data Center Project of the Ministry of Communications of Côte d’Ivoire. The project will build two data center buildings to help the government build infrastructure such as digital government systems, data center network systems, and cloud platforms. The completion of the data center will greatly enhance the government's digital level and governance capabilities; greatly improve the construction of digital infrastructure in Côte d'Ivoire, promote the government's digital transformation, and promote the development of the digital economy.
