On the evening of September 12, the first batch of XCMG large-tonnage excavator equipment and more than 20 XCMG rescue workers urgently allocated from the jurisdiction arrived in the disaster area. Since the disaster occurred on September 9, the rescue team and equipment dispatched by XCMG have been stationed at the aid site for 20 consecutive days, working around the clock to excavate the dam, release floods, and repair the surrounding mountains. As of press time, the diversion channel of the Dahekou dammed lake has been opened up, the water storage capacity has been declining, and the mountain restoration work has been basically completed.
