Recently, Henan Second Construction Engineering Development Co., Ltd. held a grand opening ceremony for the construction of the main building of Unit 2 of Hubei Energy Xiangyang Yicheng Power Plant. All the staff of the Yicheng Power Plant Project Department participated in the groundbreaking ceremony and witnessed the smooth pouring of the first tank of concrete. It marks the smooth start of the Hubei Energy Xiangyang Yicheng Power Plant Project.

Hubei Energy Xiangyang (Yicheng) 2×1000MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired unit project is located near Liangyan Village, about 6.5km southwest of Xiaohe Town, Yicheng City. The factory site is about 26.5km from Xiangyang City to the north and 14.0km from Yicheng City to the southeast. This project is a new project, planning to build 2×1000MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired units, and the company undertakes to build the main building project of Unit 2.

Since the project department entered the site, the project department and the Shen Chuanke labor team carefully organized and arranged reasonable arrangements when the No. 2 unit site was not handed over and the construction conditions were not available. It took only 9 days to complete the foundation and foundation of the column A of the main factory building. During the construction of the foundation beam, the initial layout of the production and temporary construction such as the steel bar processing workshop, the wood processing workshop, and the hardening of the construction road were simultaneously completed.
