Recently, the preliminary design of the new Jieyang-Huilai railway project was approved by the Department of Transportation of Guangdong Province. The project is located in Jieyang City, Guangdong Province.

Newly build 8 stations in Jieyang, Linpan, Hongyang, Puning North, Puning, Dananshan, Huilai, Dananhai, and 3 new line stations for Xianmei, Xinheng, and Huilai West. The project starts from Jieyang Station of Meishan Railway After passing through Jiedong District, Jiexi County, Puning City, and Huilai County, Huilai Station of Shanshan-Shantou Railway is finally under construction. Project site distribution

Jieyang Station. This line starts from the Meizhou end to the Meishan Railway access station, adding 2 departure lines and 1 island platform; along with the existing passenger passages in the station. Reserve the Guangdong East Intercity Depot on the north side of the existing depot. There is a parking lot on the left opposite to the station building.

Xinheng Station. This line is connected from the throat area at the Shantou end of the station, and 3 new departure lines are added from the station; 1 cargo line is also built, with an effective length of not less than 330 meters.

Linpan Station. Adopt the site plan near Xilong Village, Linpan Town, Jieyang City. The station has 3 arrival and departure lines and 1 side platform.

Hongyang Station. The site plan is located near Minggang Village, Hongyang Town, Puning City. The station has 4 arrival and departure lines, 2 side platforms, and 1 cross-line facility. There is a comprehensive maintenance workshop on the left side opposite to the station building.

Puning North Station. It adopts the plan of station site near Yanchangpu Village, Zhanlong Town, Puning City, and adopts the plan of overhead laying. The station has 3 arrival and departure lines and 1 side platform.

Puning Station. Adopt the plan of newly-built depot in parallel with existing stations, with 6 arrival and departure routes and 2 island platforms in the depot; connecting with the existing passenger passages in the station. One cargo line is also built, with an effective length of not less than 500 meters, and one cargo platform.

Dananshan Station. The site plan is adopted near Shanglin Village, Huicheng Town, Huilai County. There are 2 arrival and departure lines at the station.

Da Nanhai Station. The site plan is adopted near Diaoshi Village, Donglong Town, Huilai County. There are 6 arrival and departure lines, and the station reserves the conditions for the construction of freight yards. On the left side of the station building, there is a comprehensive maintenance work area and a locomotive turn-back station. The station reserves new line access conditions.

Huilai Station. Adopt the plan of setting up a new depot in parallel at Huilai Station of Shanshan-Shantou High-speed Railway under construction.
