Rongchang Southeast Ring Expressway

The Rongchang District Ring Expressway (Southeast Ring Section) is an important part of the Yongchuan-Rongchang-Zigong Expressway. At the same time, it forms the Rongchang Urban Expressway Ring Road with Tongnan-Rongchang-Luzhou Expressway and G85-Chengyu Expressway. Liangping to Kaijiang (Chongqing Section) Expressway

In May 2021, the construction drawing design of the Liangping to Sichuan Kaijiang Expressway (Chongqing Section) project was approved by the Liangping District Transportation Bureau, which means that the construction of the project has taken one step forward.

Liangping-Sichuan Kaijiang Expressway is 74 kilometers long and 45 kilometers within Liangping. It passes through Yunlong, Jukui, Li Rang, Mingda, Longmen, Xinsheng and other places, connecting with the Sichuan section of the route. The Chongqing section plans to invest 4.4 billion yuan, with a roadbed width of 26 meters, a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour, two-way four-lane, and four lower crossings in Liangping, including Xinsheng, Mingda, and Pingjin. The project is one of the eight branch lines in the "Chongqing Expressway Network Planning (2019-2035)". Yongchuan-Bishan Expressway

Introduction of Chongqing Yongchuan-Bishan Expressway Project: The total mileage of the line is about 23.7km, of which the mileage of Yongchuan is 18.197 kilometers and the mileage of Bishan is 5.512 kilometers. The estimated total investment is approximately RMB 3.029 billion.

Liangping to Kaizhou Expressway

The construction period is 3 years.

According to the approval, the project starts from the G69 Chengkai Expressway in the south of Kaizhou District (the end of the Zhaojia Hub Interchange Auxiliary Lane), takes the Puli River trough as the corridor belt, and passes through Kaizhou Changsha, Nanmen, Yuexi, and Wutong in the southwest direction. To Wanzhou boundary; then to Liangping boundary via Wanzhou Danzi and Yujia; and then to Jindai via Liangping Fuping, Hexing, Xingqiao, Ansheng, Renxian and G42 Hurong Expressway. The total length of the route is 95.1 kilometers, with 114 bridges, 6 tunnels, 12 interchanges, and 2 service areas.

The main line of the project adopts highway standard construction, with a design speed of 100 km/h, two-way four-lane, and a roadbed width of 26 meters. Among them, the starting point of the project is about 2.1 kilometers from Chengkai Expressway to Wankai Expressway. The design speed is 80 kilometers per hour, and the two-way six-lane expressway standard is used for expansion.

The construction of the Kaizhou-Liangping Expressway project can build a convenient passage from the main urban area to the urban agglomeration in Northeast Chongqing, realize the expansion and diversion of the G42 Liangping-Wanzhou section, and improve and optimize the road network structure. At the same time, it can help accelerate the development and construction of the Puli River Valley area, strengthen the regional integration of Northeast Chongqing, and promote the integrated development of Dakaiwan.

Widening of Changshou to Liangping Section of Yuyi Expressway

In July 2021, the Chongqing Development and Reform Commission's reply to the proposal No. 0198 of the Fourth Session of the Fifth Municipal People's Congress mentioned the progress of the project. The preparation of the project work permit report is currently underway. After research, the area where the project is located has good topography and geology, with fewer existing expressway structures, and conditions for widening the original road. Wulong to Daozhen (Chongqing Border) Expressway

In February 2021, the Wulong-Daozhen (Chongqing Border) Expressway Project has been approved and has been included in the Chongqing Expressway Construction Three-Year Action Plan. This section of expressway has a total length of 35.35 kilometers and a total investment of 7.8 billion yuan. The design speed of the project is 80 km/h, the roadbed width is 25.5 meters, two-way four-lane, and the construction period is 4 years.

It is reported that the starting point of the project and the G65 Yuxiang Expressway form a hub near Banzhulin, and the route crosses the Yuxiang Expansion Expressway, Yuhuai Railway, Yuxiang High-speed Railway, Wujiang, and G319 National Road to the east of Zhongzui Township to the southeast. After that, it will be routed eastward along the south bank of Wujiang River, and after passing through the west of Jiangkou Town, it will be routed along the periphery of Furong River Scenic Area, passing through Shiqiao and Jiajiao Mountain, turning from the west side of Haokou Township to southwest, and entering Guizhou Province near Zimu Rock Territory. Wanzhou to Wushan to Badong Section of the South Line of Yanjiang Expressway

The South Line Project along the Yangtze River is located in the northeastern part of Chongqing, across the four riverside districts and counties of Wanzhou, Yunyang, Fengjie and Wushan, and is arranged on the south bank of the Yangtze River. The construction of the project can fill in the blank area of Chongqing's road network and connect to the Hubei road network to the east, forming a new inter-provincial channel along the river. It is of great significance for overcoming the Yangtze River moat, promoting the coordinated development of both sides of the Yangtze River, and driving tourism and industrial development along the route. After preliminary research, the starting point of the route connects with Wanli Expressway near Long Beach, and connects with Hubei section via Wailang, Longjiao, Pu'an, Jiagao, Wuma, Hefeng, Tonggu, and Baolong. Bishan Qitang to Hechuan Caojie Expressway

On May 7, 2021, the Beibei District Transportation Bureau completed the public bidding for the preparation of the feasibility study report of the Bishan Qitang to Hechuan Caojie to Third Ring Expressway at the Beibei District Trading Center.

The project starts from Qingping, the third ring of Sichuan, expands the Chengjiang branch to Bishan Qitang and Batang via Yuwu Expressway, and ends with the Nanhua hub of Bijin Expressway. Liangping to Zhongxian to Shizhu Expressway

On October 11, 2019, Liangping passed through Zhongxian County to Shizhu was included in the joint expressway plan (30 joints), and the planned route was named "Liangping to Xituo to Shizhu Expressway".

The Liangping District Government and the Zhongxian Government are responsible for the preliminary demonstration work of the "Liangping to Zhongxian to Shizhu Expressway" project, with a total length of about 150 kilometers. At present, the Liangping to Xituo section has started the preliminary work. There are many environmental impact points along the Xituo to Shizhu section, and the terrain and geological conditions are complex, and the construction of the project is difficult. Further research and demonstration of the planning plan is required.

Wuxi-Chengkou Expressway

Wucheng Expressway starts near Dahe Township, Wuxi County, connects with Wuzhen Expressway, ends at Chengkou County along the river (the boundary between Sichuan and Chongqing), connects with the section within Sichuan and connects with G65 Baomao Expressway, until Hanzhong, Tianshui, Lanzhou . The Wucheng Expressway has a mileage of about 145 kilometers in Chongqing, including about 65 kilometers in Wuxi and 80 kilometers in Chengkou. The project is in the early stage of demonstration.

Hechuan Dashi to Wusheng Horse Racing Highway

Qijiang Anwen to Xishui Expressway
