At 11 o'clock on October 5, the Xiyan Railway Project of the Second Company of China Railway 20th Bureau in Yan'an City, after receiving the emergency notice, quickly launched the emergency rescue plan.

In 15 minutes, more than 60 people were assembled with 2,200 sandbags and 8 rescue vehicles, and they rushed to the rescue point 77 kilometers away.

As of 8 o'clock on October 6th, 150 steel pipe protective piles were erected, 20 tons of cement were transferred, 262 steel pipe materials, and 100 cubic meters of slabs were transferred. The first stage of rescue operations was successfully completed.
