Recently, in 2021, the third major project in Hunan Province will be started and completed simultaneously in 14 cities and prefectures. It is understood that a total of 1,509 major projects in Hunan Province have been started and completed, including 831 major projects and 678 major projects.

The total investment of 831 major projects started in Hunan Province reached 302.7 billion yuan, and the projects started concentrated in major industrial chains, technological innovation, major infrastructure, and public services.

In terms of fields, this concentrated construction project is mainly concentrated in the fields of major industrial chains, technological innovation, major infrastructure and public services. Among them, there are 151 infrastructure projects, focusing on the "two new and one heavy" projects; 525 industrial development projects, focusing on the construction of the "five good" parks, and emerging advantageous industrial chains such as high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, new materials, and technological innovation. Projects; 111 social and people’s livelihood projects, focusing on social housing and old community renovation, public health, education and medical care, and nursing care projects; 44 ecological and environmental protection projects, focusing on remediation of prominent environmental problems in the Yangtze River Economic Zone, urban and rural sewage and garbage treatment, Ecological restoration and energy saving and emission reduction projects.

From a structural point of view, government investment focused on municipal and industrial park infrastructure, major technological innovation platforms, and people’s livelihood fields to make up for shortcomings, giving full play to its leveraging effect; private investment focused on strengthening industrial chains to supplement chains, expanding domestic demand and promoting circulation, accounting for 83% %, effectively played the role of the main force.

Hunan Province concentrated on completing 678 major projects with an investment of more than 50 million yuan. Among them, there are 76 infrastructure projects, 472 industrial development projects, 114 social and people's livelihood projects, and 16 ecological and environmental protection projects. 37 projects with an investment of over 1 billion yuan.
