On October 10, 2021, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Zhongnan Hi-Tech·Xinhailin·Qingdao Optoelectronic Industrial Park project was officially held at the Wangtai New Kinetic Energy Industrial Base in Qingdao West Coast New District.

Photoelectric Display Industrial Park Project

According to reports, the Qingdao Optoelectronic Display Industrial Park project will focus on the new generation of information technology industries such as optoelectronics and pan-semiconductors, and introduce high-quality enterprises in the fields of optoelectronics, pan-semiconductors, integrated circuits, new materials, electronic communications, and intelligent equipment. Zhongnan High-tech Industry Group and Beijing Chip Hailin Investment Group jointly invested 3.5 billion yuan in the construction, positioning it as a supporting park for the upstream and downstream industries of the BOE project, and also the first photoelectric display industrial park in Qingdao.

It is reported that the photoelectric industrial park project was signed to land in Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone in August 2021. It covers an area of 169 acres. It is planned to be completed in 2023 and put into operation in 2024. After the formal operation, the estimated annual output value is about 2 billion yuan.

Zhongnan Hi-Tech was established in 2015 and has successively established three main product lines: new industrial parks, industrial complexes and characteristic industrial towns.
