In recent days, the Shaanxi and Shanxi regions were suddenly hit by heavy rainfall, breaking the rainfall records of the same period in previous years in many places. Under the influence of continuous heavy rainfall, railway subgrade damage and train derailment occurred in many places, which caused great harm to the safety of railway traffic. On the morning of October 6, affected by heavy rainfall, the abutment of the Changyuan River Bridge in Qixian County on the Nantong-Pu Railway Line was washed down, causing the sleepers to hang in the air and the railway's operation was interrupted. After the danger occurred, the Taiyuan Binhe East Road Project Department of China Railway 14th Bureau Group and the Taiyuan Energy-saving Reconstruction Project immediately mobilized 85 elite soldiers to form a rescue team, rushed to the scene of the danger, and carried out emergency rescue work in an intense and orderly manner. The person in charge of the project stated that more than 80 sets of large-scale machinery and tools such as muck trucks, excavators, loaders, bulldozers, cranes, etc. were invested in the rescue work. Since entering the site for 4 days, the project rescuers have been working day and night in turns, and finally filled nearly 10,000 square meters of rubble, which effectively blocked the flood.

"There is an emergency situation at K589+700m to 800m from Yuncheng, Shanxi, Haoji Railway. Please ask your unit for support!" telephone. "The Haoji Railway is a strategic transportation channel for the transportation of coal from the north to the south. It can be opened one minute earlier, and the country's energy and economic losses can be reduced earlier." The five companies immediately launched an emergency rescue plan and mobilized the Yanliang Shichuan River Project Department and Shanxi Jincheng Reconstruction 107 personnel from the project department formed an emergency rescue commando and rushed to the scene of the disaster.

At 23:30 on the evening of the 28th, 107 rescue team members rushed to the rescue site and immediately started rescue work. Due to terrain factors, large machinery could not enter the site. In order to complete the rescue mission at the fastest speed, the rescue team adjusted measures to local conditions and activated the sea of people tactics, using the ant moving method to manually lift and transport 160 cubic meters of ballast. As of 14:21 pm on September 29, after 14 hours of hard work, the Haoji Railway was successfully opened to traffic. On the morning of October 10, the Xikang line, which the five companies participated in the emergency rescue, resumed operation. At 6:15 on September 28, the railway subgrade near Chuankouwang Village, Linwei District, Weinan City, Ningxi Line was damaged, causing the freight train to disconnect. After receiving the call from Xi’an’s power supply section at 6:17, the person in charge of the Xi’an Station Reconstruction Project of China Railway 14th Bureau Group quickly organized 55 professionals and 13 machines and equipment to arrive at the site 70 kilometers away at 8:21, and devoted all their efforts to During the rescue work. The derailment of the train requires the dispatch of rescue trains for lifting operations. However, the upper catenary affects the crane boom, and the upper catenary can only be removed urgently. After determining the plan, the rescue team of China Railway 14th Bureau quickly launched rescue work. At 12:38, the catenary resumed all operating conditions, and the rescue work was successfully completed.

On September 26, Shanxi Province was affected by continuous heavy rainfall. Dangers appeared in many places on the Houyue Line, and railway transportation was interrupted for a while. Among them, a large-scale collapse occurred in the down line base of the Houyue Line of the Qinshui County Pipe Section, and the 40-meter track was completely suspended. The train is impassable! The Jincheng Old Community Project Department of China Railway 14th Bureau urgently mobilized 40 workers and 9 large-scale machines. They arrived at the rescue site in advance and immediately put them into railway rescue. The project director led a team of 5 management personnel to the scene on the evening of the 27th to join the rescue personnel of the Central Plains Command, leading hundreds of workers and large machinery to work intensively in the rain.

Houyue line 128+120 also appeared in danger on September 28, and the project department sent additional support to ensure the opening to traffic in the early morning of October 1. At 3 o'clock in the morning on October 1, the emergency team went through 4 days and 4 nights of continuous construction. The K10+550~+600 downstream line of the Houyue Line Railway was successfully repaired and the conditions for opening to traffic were met by the relevant departments of Taiyuan Railway Bureau. Ensure that the task of opening to traffic during the National Day can be carried out normally. At 6 o'clock in the morning on October 1, the first truck passed safely, and the rescue mission was successfully completed.

At 18:30 on October 1, China Railway 14th Bureau received the emergency notice from Xinfeng Station of Xi'an Railway Bureau and immediately organized more than 130 personnel and 3 equipment from the Guanhuan Project Department and Yanliang Project Department to the site. They arrived at 21:00 in the evening. Xinfeng Town Station started emergency rescue.

At 21 o'clock on October 4, after the rescue was completed and the machine exited, on the way back, the rescue notice was received on the Xikang line. At 1 o'clock in the morning on October 5, rescuers arrived at the scene and engaged in another intense rescue construction.

Due to the critical situation, the company mobilized personnel and equipment nearby. 30 rescue personnel and 5 equipment from the Tongchuan Project Department set off on a rainy night and rushed to the scene for reinforcements. At 10:20 on October 5, the Xikang Line, which was interrupted for 10 hours due to a collapse, resumed its operation. .

In this rescue work, China Railway 14th Bureau Group organized nearly 550 rescue personnel, and about 123 various types of machinery and equipment were put into it. The repaired railway sections include: Haoji Railway, Lintong Railway West Ring Line, Xikang Railway, Houyue Railway, Nantongpu Railway, Ningxi Line, and the railway near Chuankouwangcun, Linwei District, Weinan City.
