The Tangbao Railway has a total length of 852.419 kilometers. It is jointly operated by China Railway Hohhot Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and China Railway Beijing Bureau Group Co., Ltd. It mainly transports coal and other white goods from Inner Mongolia and northern Shaanxi to Caofeidian Port.

How long does it take to fill a 10,000-ton train

At a coal loading station on the Tangbao Railway, a large train composed of 105 C80 empty gondola cars was pushed to the loading bay. On September 23, in the Shaliang Logistics Park of the Hohhot Freight Center, two reach stackers were shuttled back and forth, hoisting white tank containers and loading them on special flat cars. Four hours later, a container train full of bulk cement will rush to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area along the Tangbao Railway to help local construction.

Hohhot Freight Center takes advantage of the location advantage of Shaliang Logistics Park to connect with Shaliang Station of Tangbao Railway to strengthen in-depth cooperation with enterprises. The Jining Locomotive Depot is responsible for the 605-kilometer traction task on the Tangbao Railway, passing 174 bridges and 84 tunnels, including 9 long ramps above 12‰, with a maximum slope of 13‰, making it difficult to maneuver.

From an ordinary freight driver to a heavy-duty driver, a training period of no less than 2 years is required, and the mileage used for internship is about 160,000 kilometers.

Manipulating a 10,000-ton train on a growing downhill is like riding a slide with a bag of rice on his back. The train driver needs to adjust the brake at all times.

In order to ensure the safety of traction in special sections and meet the requirements of "careful control, precise control, and fine control", Jining Locomotive Depot summarized the "Tangbao Railway 24 brake curing operation method", and the operation details such as the location and speed of the brake are clearly defined. The first perspective of a heavy-duty driver

There are more than 60 large and small tunnels in the crew traction section of Jining Locomotive Depot, and the longest Yanshan Tunnel is 21,155 meters long.

One tunnel after another will cause the flight attendants to have symptoms of dizziness and tinnitus. This group of heavy-duty drivers often maintain a "strange" posture when maneuvering the train through the tunnel: the tongue is on the upper jaw, the body is slightly forward, and the body is not allowed to sit firmly on the chair, and sitting on the chair is almost a horse step. It can effectively avoid the problems of visual fatigue and lack of concentration in the dark environment for a long time.

Tunnels one after another, travel during the day and arrive at night, and the flight attendants can't even feel the changes in sunlight during the journey.
