Recently, the six companies of Hunan Construction Engineering Group have made new breakthroughs in their overseas operations and successfully won the bid for the Maldives Auto Parts City project. The winning bid was approximately US$32 million, equivalent to RMB 207 million.
The Maldives is an archipelago country in the Indian Ocean. It is about 600 kilometers south of India and about 750 kilometers southwest of Sri Lanka. It is 820 kilometers long from north to south and 130 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total land area of 90,000 square kilometers. The Maldives Auto Parts City project adopts the EPC+F contracting model. The project covers an area of 7418.25 m2, with a total construction area of 37033.57 m2. The construction content of the project is initially planned as a single-building six-story multifunctional auto parts center (including two-story basement), as well as catering , Supermarket and other supporting facilities. The project is scheduled to start in 2022 with a construction period of 24 months.
