The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City stated that Ho Chi Minh City has implemented a master plan for the development of the logistics industry in the region to play its role as the largest cargo distribution center in the southern region, the southern region and even the country's import and export gateway. In particular, Ho Chi Minh City will focus on the development of professional service providers and form a core business team that can lead the logistics service market in the South and even the whole country.

Vietnam is in a strategic location in Southeast Asia, so it must promote all-round infrastructure construction to make Vietnam a travel hub in Southeast Asia. According to the plan, Ho Chi Minh City has set a goal that by 2025, the growth rate of Ho Chi Minh City’s corporate logistics service revenue will reach 15%, and by 2030 it will reach 20%.
