The company plans to build a large 100-megawatt electrolyzer at its Cologne plant in Germany to produce green hydrogen. Ineos claims that its German hydrogen plant will reduce carbon emissions by more than 120,000 tons per year, and promote the development of electronic fuels through industrial-scale electricity to methanol applications.
