Nanjing Metro Line 11 is an important support for strengthening the overall planning and development of Jiangbei New District. Recently, led by China Communications Construction, a consortium consisting of the First Public Bureau Group, the Tunnel Bureau, China Communications (Guangzhou) Construction, the Third Aviation Bureau, and the Electrical and Mechanical Services Bureau won the bid for the general contracting TA02 project of the first phase of the Nanjing Metro Line 11 project. The amount is 3.037 billion yuan.

The first phase of Nanjing Metro Line 11 starts at Maluxu Station in Pukou District and ends at Puzhou Road Station. The total length of the line is about 26.7 kilometers. There are 20 stations on the whole line, including 1 elevated station and 19 underground stations. The contract section of China Communications Construction starts at Xingzhi Road Station (excluding) and ends at the Central Business District Station. It is 9.37 kilometers long and is all underground. It has 7 stations, including 3 transfer stations.
