Recently, the preliminary design of the Suichuan-Dayu Expressway project was approved by the Jiangxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission. The total budget of the project is 24.44527 billion.

The route of the high-speed project starts at the north of Yishan Village, Duiziqian Town, Suichuan County, and connects to the end of the Yisui Expressway under construction (starting point K195+120). Crossing with Kangda Expressway, the route crosses Kangda Expressway and intercommunication with Kangda Expressway Dayu to form a floor-standing combined cross-crossing Dayu hub (K321+945), with a total length of 126.946 kilometers. A total of 1,1726.5 meters/9 large bridges, 30644.3 meters/76 large bridges, 158 meters/4 middle bridges, and 1743.8 meters/11 separated interchanges (all of the above include main line bridges within the interoperability range, excluding interoperable ramp bridges) ; 29435.5m/16 tunnels, including 4 extra-long tunnels, 5 long tunnels, 4 medium tunnels, and 3 short tunnels; shed caves of 200m/3 places; 8 interchanges (including 2 junctions); There are 3 service areas, 1 parking area, 6 ramp toll stations, 2 road administration, traffic police, and barrier clearing stations, and 2 maintenance work areas. Another 15.041 km/6 interconnection lines will be built.

According to reports, the main line of the Suichuan-Dayu Expressway project adopts a two-way four-lane expressway standard construction, with a design speed of 100 km/h and a roadbed width of 26.0 meters; automobile load grade highway-I; design flood frequency: super bridge 1/ 300, 1/100 of bridges, culverts and subgrades; peak acceleration of ground motion is 0.05g; navigation level: Shangyoujiang VIII; other technical indicators shall be implemented in accordance with current relevant standards and regulations. The Shuiyan Interchange Line adopts the third-level highway standard construction, the design speed is 40 km/h, and the roadbed width is 8.5 meters. The remaining connection lines are constructed using the second-level road standard, the design speed is 60 km/h, and the roadbed width is 12 meters.

As a section of the ninth vertical section of the “Ten Verticals, Ten Horizontals and 21 Joints”, the project will greatly improve the expressway network in Jiangxi Province after its completion, realize the high-quality development of the revolutionary old areas, and integrate into the One Belt One Road, which connects Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau.
