On October 25, 2021, the free road project in Hami City, Xinjiang undertaken by China Railway 21st Bureau No. 1 Company was completed.
The Freeway Road Project is one of the key road engineering projects to be invested in Yizhou District in 2020. The total investment is 50 million yuan, the total design length is 853.415 meters, and the total construction area is 21,000 square meters. It starts from Tianshan South Road in the west and ends at Tuanjie Road in the east. In the direction, the design traffic is two-way four lanes, the red line is 24 meters wide, and there are 2 meters wide green belts and 3 meters wide sidewalks on both sides of the road. It also includes the construction of a 270-meter long bridge. The project officially started construction on October 27, 2020.
Xu Guiyong, chief engineer of the Freeway Project of the Hami Branch of China Railway 21st Bureau, said that there are 60 people participating in the construction of the project. The construction content includes steel bar processing, drilling and concrete pouring of bored piles, plane position stakeout, leveling, etc. Dedicated personnel will carry out quality inspection and control of each process, construction safety control and other guarantee work related to construction and production.
The project is a key project of Hami City's road upgrading and transformation and development. It is a key project of Hami City and consists of four parts: bridge engineering, road engineering, supporting electrification engineering and green irrigation engineering. After opening and operation, it will provide more convenient and orderly transportation conditions for Hami City, further optimize and upgrade the urban transportation network layout in the urban area, and promote the deepening of the local economic and social development.
