On October 28, Guangdong Dongdao New Energy Co., Ltd. officially started construction of the 150,000-tonne lithium-ion power battery anode material project in Yilong New District, Xingyi City, Guizhou Province.

The project is a joint investment of 3 billion yuan by Dongdao New Energy and Changjiang Chendao (Hubei) New Energy Industry Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership) to build a comprehensive smart factory integrating R&D, technology, production and sales in two phases. In September 2019, Changjiang Chendao made a strategic investment in Dongdao New Energy, holding 16.41% of its equity.

At the same time, the East Island New Energy Materials Research Institute will be built to create an advanced R&D platform for emerging materials industries in the southwest region, promote technological progress in the park's emerging materials industries, and cooperate with local universities in Guizhou to carry out industry-university-research cooperation to cultivate high-level talents in the new energy industry.

Dongdao New Energy was established in 2011, mainly engaged in the production of lithium-ion power battery anode materials, cathode materials, lithium battery electrolyte materials, power battery anode coating materials and other products, and is committed to providing users with integrated lithium battery manufacturing solutions.
