The Heilongjiang section of the Jingha Expressway is the northeast ray of the seven capital radiation lines of the national expressway network. It is an important section of the National Highway No. 1 (G1). It is one of the most important roads to connect with the national strategy of “One Belt and One Road” and accelerate the construction of the Beijing-Harbin Corridor of the national comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network and the China-Mongolia-Russia international land route.

The reconstruction and expansion project of the Heilongjiang section of the Jingha Expressway starts at the Jilalin River Bridge in Jihei Province, and the route crosses the Jingha Railway. Construction started in May 2019, and it only took 29 months to complete and open to traffic. After completion, the width of the roadbed was increased from 28 meters to 42 meters, and the four-lane road was rebuilt and expanded to eight-lane, and the vehicle traffic capacity was significantly improved.

During the implementation of the project, the Department of Transportation of Heilongjiang Province made overall plans and accelerated advancement, with quality and safety management as the main line, and organized all participating units to successively carry out "starting in spring", "summer offensive", "hundred-day battle", and "winter construction". "Two-way guarantee during the construction period", "epidemic prevention and control, resumption of production" and other tough actions, are not afraid of cold and heat, fight day and night, and bear heavy burdens, ensuring construction safety and traffic safety. In the construction, new technologies and processes such as the full splicing scheme of subgrade and pavement, full impact compaction of subgrade base, intelligent production in the whole process, asphalt recycling technology, seamless forming construction of ultra-wide paver, and gas green and environmentally friendly concrete mixing station are widely used in construction. , New materials, new equipment, strengthened information management, and created a demonstration quality project for the highway reconstruction and expansion project in Heilongjiang Province.
