Slovakia is implementing a road improvement project. By the end of 2021, the country’s 227 kilometers of primary roads will be improved and, in some cases, will be fully rebuilt according to a timetable worth 56 million euros. So far, the approximately 151 kilometers of primary roads targeted by the Slovak upgrade plan have benefited from the improvements.
The plan is planned by the Ministry of Transport and Construction of Slovakia. By 2024, the plan calls for maintenance and improvement of 600 kilometers of roads, and it is estimated that the plan will cost 166.6 million euros.
