According to reports, Xinxiang Municipal Party Committee Secretary Li Weidong announced that the post-disaster reconstruction project of Weihui City with a total investment of 18.65 billion yuan and a total area of more than 7,000 acres has officially started construction.
According to reports, the post-disaster reconstruction project in Weihui City consists of four sub-projects, including the ancient city moat and surrounding areas, the old living area of the original Huaxin Spinning Factory, the old living area of the original Motor Factory, and the old community of Mengxi. The moat area around the ancient city, the original Huaxin yarn factory area and the ancient city moat area, etc., which were initiated in advance, have a total investment of 5.6 billion yuan. The resettlement area covers a total area of 549 mu and resettles 4,335 households.
The post-disaster reconstruction project in Weihui City was planned and completed jointly by the Henan Branch of the China Development Bank and the Xinxiang City Government. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Henan Branch will give full play to the advantages and functions of development finance in key areas, weak links, and critical periods, and focus on the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan of Xinxiang City in post-disaster reconstruction, rural revitalization, urban renewal, and ecological development in the Yellow River Basin.
