Recently, CMEC and the Turkish Ministry of Transport signed an EPC contract for the Aksaray-Ulukisla-Yenice railway project in Turkey, with a total contract value of approximately US$1.8 billion.

Turkey's AUY railway has a total length of 196 kilometers and a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour. It is a double-track electrified passenger high-speed railway. The project passes through the four provinces of Turkey, Aksaray, Nied, Adana and Mersin. After the project is completed and opened to traffic, it will end the history of the U.S. dollar railway in Aksaray Province, Turkey, and will also promote the social and economic development of the areas along the railway.

The design, procurement and construction of the project were completed by CMEC and local partners. This cooperation model can not only give play to the advanced advantages of China's high-speed rail technology, open up new markets for China's high-speed rail, but also provide a lot of job opportunities for local Turkish companies and people, achieving a win-win situation. CMEC is mainly engaged in the supply and construction of communication, electrical, signal, interactive systems, and rails. This is the "main backbone" and "neural network" of high-speed rail, which has the characteristics of high technical content and high industrial added value. The infrastructure construction work along the railway, such as "opening roads in mountains and building bridges in rivers", is completed by experienced Turkish partners.

The successful signing of the Turkish high-speed rail project is an important milestone in CMEC's deepening of the Turkish market.
