When the diesel engine is working, its coolant temperature is high and it is pressurized, which can easily cause burns. After the diesel engine is stopped and the coolant temperature drops below 50°C, the coolant level can be checked or added. The coolant contains alkali-containing rust inhibitors. Avoid contact with skin and eyes to prevent injury.
After the coolant temperature drops below 50℃ before the diesel engine starts or after stopping, slowly unscrew the pressure cap (liquid cap) on the radiator or expansion tank to release the pressure of the cooling system. Remove the pressure cap and check the coolant level from the filling port or the liquid level inspection port. It should be within the upper and lower engraved lines or meet the equipment manufacturer's regulations. If necessary, add it. Add to close to the upper scribe line or meet the equipment manufacturer's regulations. When adding coolant, it should be injected slowly to prevent air lock.Editor/Baohongying
