Recently, Tibet’s Mount Everest and China Power Construction International Engineering Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shanghai. In the future, the two parties will comprehensively deepen international business cooperation, and carry out extensive and in-depth cooperation in the development, construction, operation and management of overseas power and mining resources projects, especially in the construction of the Argentine Salt Lake project.

On the afternoon of November 16, 2021, Mount Everest in Tibet and the Government of Salta Province of Argentina signed the "Investment Agreement for the Industrialization of Salt Lake Resources in Salta Province" at the 14th China-Latin America Entrepreneurs Summit. According to the investment agreement, Tibet Everest and its affiliated companies will invest approximately US$700 million in Argentina in 2022 to build an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of lithium carbonate products in the Angeles Salt Lake in Salta Province. The project is planned for 2021. Construction will start before the end of the year and is expected to be completed before the end of 2022.
