The 10 high schools started this round of concentrated construction, including 8 relocations and 2 new constructions, occupy a total area of 1,100 acres, with a total construction area of 688,000 square meters and a total investment of 3.63 billion yuan. After the school is completed and put into use, 18,700 degrees can be added. Each high school runs 45 to 98 classes, with a construction area of 60,000 to 90,000 square meters, and a total investment of 300 to 500 million yuan. It is reported that the 10 high schools that have started construction this time are expected to be completed in September 2022.

On May 10, 2021, the Zhengzhou Municipal Government issued the "Notice on the Three-year Action Plan for the Construction of High Schools in Zhengzhou Municipality (2020-2022)". It plans to build 20 high school schools, including 16 regular high schools, 4 vocational schools.
