Recently, the Suzhou-Guzhen Expressway Project was officially approved by the Anhui Provincial Development and Reform Commission, which laid a solid foundation for the construction of the project within the year.

The project starts from Suzhou on the north side of Xigudui Village, Miaoan Township, Yongqiao District, connects to the built G1516 Yanluo Expressway, and extends to the east of the proposed Suzhou Airport, Dadian Town, Yongqiao District, and Louzhuang, Lingbi County. The town and Guzhen have Zhongxing Township, which ends at the north side of Huangzhuang Village, Shihu Township, Guzhen County, and is connected to the built-guzhen-Bengbu Expressway, with a total length of about 43.82 kilometers. The entire line adopts two-way four-lane expressway standard construction, with a design speed of 120 km/h and a roadbed width of 26 meters. The estimated total investment of the project is 5.525 billion yuan, and the construction period is 3 years.

In the future, when the Suzhou-Guzhen Expressway in Anhui Province is completed and opened to traffic, the layout of the expressway network in northern Anhui will be further improved, and the connection between Suzhou and the cities in northern Anhui will be closely linked. Editor/He Yuting
