Wuchang Highway

The Wu-Chang Expressway starts from Wudang District of Guiyang City, connects Guiwen Expressway and Duan Expressway, crosses Guizun Expressway and Huaan Expressway, and reaches Changshun County, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, with a total length of about 115. Kilometers, designed as two-way six-lane, 100 kilometers per hour, with a total investment of about 20.5 billion yuan.

According to the person in charge of the China Railway Eighteenth Bureau, the Wuchang Expressway is a key construction project of the expressway network during the 14th Five-Year Plan period in Guizhou Province. After the entire line is completed and opened to traffic in 2024, the provincial capital Guiyang Fifth Ring and Eighteen Shots Expressway will be initially constructed. The main skeleton of the network, ethnic minority people along the route can take the expressway in half an hour and arrive at the airport in an hour, effectively increasing the traffic carrying capacity of Guizhou Province and helping to form the most convenient major highway connecting the Lanhai, Shanghai-Kunming and Yinbai highways.
