On December 2, 2021, the Philippine branch of Fujian Power Construction reported another good news, and successfully won the bid for the EPC general contracting project of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) Pinamukan 500 kV substation, with a bid amount of about 600 million yuan.

This project is the highest voltage substation project of the Philippine National Grid, located in Batangas Province, Philippines. Construction tasks include a new Pinamukan 500 kV substation and three substation expansion projects. After the project is completed, it can be connected to the 500 MW Vires LNG power plant and 2x600 MW Sta Maria LNG power plant in the urban area of Batangas.
