The low headroom XR360 rotary drilling rig is transformed from XCMG’s classic rotary drilling rig XR360. Before the renovation, this XR360 has been in service in the market for nearly ten years, with a construction time of up to 12,000 hours, witnessing the jointing of many bridges, high-rise buildings, and high speeds. It is a proud "good horse" for customers.

However, as urban construction is restricted, construction under viaducts and high-voltage power lines has become the norm. The equipment is too large, the site is too small, and the embarrassment of not being able to enter the site has also caused the pile workers to miss many opportunities. To this end, XCMG Foundation has launched a series of low-clearance pile workers' complete sets of equipment to meet the construction requirements of limited construction heights and have the characteristics of small land occupation and low energy consumption.

The remanufacturing of the XCMG XR360 rotary drilling rig will be customized according to the customer's construction requirements, and the new quality of the prototype will be compared to meet the low headroom requirements while reducing user costs.

The drill mast II of the XCMG XR360 rotary drilling rig was remodeled from 14.70m to 7.66m, and the pressurized cylinder was changed from 6m to 2.74m according to the pressurizing stroke. The modified XR360 rotary drilling rig retains the original abundant power and fully meets the requirements. Construction needs with a height limit of 12.5m, a drilling depth of 25m, and a torque of 360KN.m.

The successful launch of this rotary drilling rig has broadened the sales channels for remanufactured products and marked another important step taken by XCMG Foundation in the aftermarket and remanufacturing business development.
