On the afternoon of December 16, 2021, the first phase of the KION China forklift project and the start of the US Dematic project were held in Jinan, Shandong. Sun Licheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Jinan Municipal Party Committee, attended the event and jointly launched the first new energy forklift off the assembly line with Tan Xuguang and announced the start of the Dematic project in the United States.
