The construction site is located in the 852 Farm of Baoqing County. The planned installed capacity of the power station is 1000MW and the rated water head is 286m. The upper reservoir is located in a natural valley on the west bank of the Totong River on the east side of the lower reservoir. The initial normal storage level is 450m and the dead water level is 420m. The east side is blocked by a ditch and the reservoir is initially planned. The maximum dam height is 113m. The total length of the water delivery system is 3658.21m, the underground powerhouse adopts the first layout type, and the conditions for forming the tunnel are good. The Lower Reservoir is located in a natural channel about 4km east of the Tomatong Reservoir. The initial normal storage level is 150m, the dead water level is 132m, and the initial asphalt concrete face rockfill dam with a maximum dam height of 36m.
