Recently, Taicang Port, Jiangsu. COSCO SHIPPING's 20,000-ton semi-submersible vessel "Kangshengkou" sailed smoothly with eight tire-tire gantry cranes (RTGs) fully loaded.

The tire-tied gantry crane (RTG), also known as the tire crane, is transported this time. It is a crane used for transferring containers in port yards and walking on tires. The batch of RTGs is about 160 tons, with a length of about 27 meters, a width of about 13 meters, and a height of about 26 meters.

For this loading, the COSCO SHIPPING Special Transport semi-submersible ship management team took the lead in formulating the cargo loading and lashing plan together with the customer and the Special Transport Freight Technology Department, fully prepared and carefully implemented to ensure the safe and smooth loading of the cargo; at the same time, actively coordinated All parties, overcoming the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, completed various tasks including berthing, nucleic acid testing, shift change, refueling, loading, lashing, and sailing within 4 days, which were highly recognized by customers.
