On January 10, 2022, the signing ceremony of the 20GW photovoltaic encapsulation film Chuzhou Lai'an production base project of PARKnSHOP was grandly held at the Changzhou headquarters. Before signing the contract, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Wu Jin and Chairman Ru Zhengwei had in-depth exchanges on deepening the development and cooperation of the photovoltaic film industry and other new energy fields to jointly achieve high-quality development.

According to the agreement, Baijiajie plans to invest in the construction of a 20GW packaging film production base project in Laian, Chuzhou, with a planned land area of 100 mu and a total investment of 800 million yuan. Sheng Heqi, General Manager of Baijias Photovoltaic Materials Division, and Zhang Jingan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Lai'an Economic Development Zone, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

Wu Jin, deputy secretary of the Chuzhou Municipal Party Committee and mayor, said at the meeting that Chuzhou Laian is located at the forefront of the eastward development of Anhui Province. At present, Chuzhou is seizing the "dual carbon" opportunity, accelerating the leap-forward development of the photovoltaic industry, actively implementing the national strategy for the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, and striving to build a high-quality development pattern. In just a few years, Chuzhou has established a photovoltaic industry base with a large investment scale, many leading enterprises and a complete industrial chain, and successfully attracted leading photovoltaic enterprises such as LONGi, Jinko, and Suntech to invest and build factories. As a supporting enterprise of photovoltaic modules, Baijiajie should give full play to its advantages in technology and talents, strengthen communication, carry out practical cooperation, and strive to put investment projects into production as soon as possible.
