On the morning of January 14, 2022, the first node project of the Xiangshan Line of the Ningbo Municipal Railway started. According to reports, there are three leading node projects under construction this time, including Xiaoyangjiang Station and Damuwan Station, the starting stations of the Xiangshan Line of the Municipal Railway, as well as offshore exploration projects.

The Xiangshan Line Project of Ningbo Municipal Railway leads from Xiaoyangjiang Station, the transfer station of Rail Transit Lines 4 and 7, passes through Yunlong, Hengxi, Tangxi, Xianxiang and crosses Xiangshan Port, and then enters Xiangshan County through Xianwei and Daxu to set up people. From Plaza Station and Nanfang Xincheng Station to Damuwan Station, the end of the line, reserve conditions for long-term extension to Shipu. The total length is about 61.45 kilometers, with a total of 10 stations. The estimated total investment of the project is about 25.2 billion yuan. It is planned to open to traffic in the first half of 2027. In the future, it will undertake medium and long distance travel from the main urban area of Ningbo to Xiangshan and between the main urban area of Ningbo and Xiangshan towns. Internal commuting and travel, while taking into account the distribution function of Ningbo West Comprehensive Transportation Hub, the goal is to build the first "common prosperity demonstration line" in Zhejiang Province.

The Xiangshan Line of Ningbo Municipal Railway is a project of "Multi-level Rail Transit Planning in the Yangtze River Delta Region" approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, and it is also a key project planned and constructed during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period of our city. After completion, from the Xiangshan Line near Dongqian Lake in the main urban area of Ningbo, you can go to Xiangshan to see the sea in half an hour, further shortening the space-time distance between Xiangshan and the main urban area of Ningbo, and greatly facilitating the transportation of people along the line.
