On the morning of January 18, 2022, Wuhan held the first-quarter major project start-up activities, and set up a branch venue in the East Lake High-tech Zone. It is reported that in the first quarter, a total of 18 major projects in Donghu High-tech Zone started construction, with a total investment of 49.5 billion yuan, 2 projects of more than 5 billion yuan, and 12 projects of more than 1 billion yuan. Including the t5 project of Huaxing Optoelectronics of 15 billion yuan and the Guochuangke-New Display Printing Manufacturing Equipment Project are new display supporting projects.

The CSOT t5 project officially settled in Wuhan on December 3, 2021, with a total investment of 15 billion yuan to expand the production of the existing sixth-generation semiconductor new display devices, and the production capacity will increase from the existing 53,000 pieces/month to 9.8 10,000 pieces/month, planned to be completed in 2025, mainly producing small and medium-sized high-value-added IT displays, vehicle-mounted displays, VR display panels, etc.

As the R&D and production base of TCL CSOT's small and medium-sized display business, Wuhan TCL CSOT has built two high-end panel production lines and is the world's largest LTPS single-unit factory. Among them, the t3 project started construction in 2014 and is the first 6-generation LTPS display panel production line in China. The t4 project started construction in 2017 and is the first domestic 6-generation flexible display panel production line focusing on folding displays. Currently, t3 and t4 projects have reached the designed capacity.

Guochuangke-New Display Printing Manufacturing Equipment Project is a new display supporting project, which mainly focuses on the key common technologies and core equipment of new display printing manufacturing, so as to realize the independent and controllable development, production and application of new display manufacturing key equipment.
