On January 18, 2022, the world's largest three-tower self-anchored suspension bridge with the world's largest span three-tower construction undertaken by CCCC Second Navigation Bureau officially opened to traffic on the Yellow River Phoenix Bridge in Jinan, Shandong.

Jinan Yellow River Phoenix Bridge is one of the major projects of "three bridges and one tunnel" for regional traffic in Jinan's starting area, and it is also the 15th bridge across the Yellow River in Jinan. The total length of the bridge is 3788 meters, and the main bridge is 1332 meters long. It is a three-tower self-anchored suspension bridge. The two main spans are 428 meters. The bridge adopts the mode of "same-level layout and joint construction of road and rail", with a two-way 8-lane first-class highway standard, with a design speed of 60 kilometers per hour.

The completion and opening of the bridge has improved the traffic network planning in Jinan, and is of great significance to promoting the construction of the starting area for the conversion of new and old kinetic energy in Jinan, expanding the space for urban development, and promoting regional economic development.Editor/Ma Xue
